Stolen GE13 & Voting Frauds - No surprise. Whole BN govt had been on Forgery Steroids.

Stolen GE13 & Voting Frauds - No surprise. Whole BN govt had been on Forgery Steroids. What is surprising  are the jewels of honest, upright professionals who were inspired to break away from the corrupt clutch of the BN govt.

Son of former deputy minister charged for forgery
Mohd Nizam Lajim, 31, the son of a former deputy minister, was charged in the Sessions Court today with using a forged document over a road construction project in Batu Pahat, Johor.
Mohd Nizam, son of former deputy housing and local government minister Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin, pleaded not guilty to having used a forged document dated July 25, 2012, as a genuine one carrying the recommendation of Land and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
The document was said to be an addendum listing companies proposed for the construction of roads in Mukim 6 Linau and Mukim 7 Tg Semberong in Batu Pahat, Johor.
The companies listed were Moral Bahagia Sdn Bhd, Prestasi Reka Sdn Bhd, Satria Mara Sdn Bhd, Sanjung Sempurna Sdn Bhd, Pertama Makmur Sdn Bhd, Mansashi Sdn Bhd, H & A Construction Sdn Bhd, Nisa Consolidated Sdn Bhd, Bina-Mas Construction Sdn Bhd and Landscape Sdn Bhd.
Mohd Nizam was charged with having committed the offence at Berjaya Starbucks Coffee, Lot No. G40, The Mall, No. 100, Jalan Putra, here, at 3.40pm on Aug 8 last year.
He was charged under Section 471 of the Penal Code and the penalty, under Section 465 of the same code, is a maximum of two years' imprisonment or a fine, or both, upon conviction.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Afifah Mamat alias Yusof of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) proposed RM50,000 bail with one surety and for the accused to surrender his passport to the court.
Counsel Datuk K Kumarendran sought to have the bail reduced to RM10,000, saying that his client had cooperated fully with the MACC since the investigation into the case began in August last year.
Judge Rosbiahanin Arifin set bail at RM20,000 with one surety, ordered the accused to surrender his passport to the court, and set June 25 for case management.

Blackout505 was a deception copybook from America's 9/11.

On 24 May 2013, the Election Commission (EC) Deputy Chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar stated that various blackout incidents during vote counting did not happen. As a proof, he said the photo posted in the internet was recorded before the GE13.

(Bernama) - Preliminary investigation by the Election Commission (EC) revealed that a photograph posted on the internet showing that a blackout purportedly occurred during vote-counting for the 13th general election (GE13) was an act recorded even before the GE13.

Fact is, there was no time-date stamp on the photo / still-shot. How could he say for certain that the photo/video was recorded before GE13?

So either

it was a pre-staged scene before the election knowing BN was going to lose big and this "prestaged photo" could be used to refute the allegations of election frauds committed during the blackouts

or

a bold-face flat denial (LIE) in the face of a election defeat,

or  BOTH.

Satire:
A conversation between the SPR Chairman (SPRC), deputy Chairman (SPRDC) and Najib (CPM) before Parliament was dissolved for the GE13.

SPRC: Datuk (CPM  Najib), we are going to lose this GE13 big, very big Boss.

CPM:  You know we cannot afford to lose this GE13. All our heads are on the chopping board. Any bright ideas?

SPRC: I can make 2 sets of indelible ink. The really indelible ink for the legitimate Malaysian voters who will likely vote PR and the other "eyewash fake indelible ink" for our Bangla-import voters.

CPM:  Good idea. But how will our SPR crooks know who our Bangla / BN voters are?

SPRC: Easy. Those who show the Index finger (1M) symbol are your supporters. The ones who hate you will show the Middle finger at our SPR agents

CPM:  Fantastic. Your Tun-ship will be ready after I tipu-win this election.

SPRDC: Can I interject? What if the voters turn up in record numbers? Judging from the overwhelming responses to Anwar's campaign, this might just happen. Above 80% voters' turnout, even our airbus loads of Bangla and Filipino voters will not be enough.

CPM:  You have a point there SPRDC. What's your suggestion?

SPRDC: If SPRC's plan A don't work, we need a last minute "Instant Maggie mee" backup plan.

CPM:  What do you mean?

SPRDC: Like Instant Maggie Mee, we must be able to overturn the voting results within minutes at the last minute like magic.

CPM:  And how do you propose to do that?

SPRDC: Instant blackout! Then we switch the vote tallies or "parachute" in the pre-marked BN ballots.

CPM:  How do you coordinate this publicly with millions of Malaysians glued to the twitters,FB and sms updates? Surely we will get caught with our pants down.

SPRDC: Tak ada masalah. Our SPR control centre will sms "IM" to relevant counting stations for the blackouts to occur. Each "IM" sms means one bag of 10,000 fake votes. Our SPR agents will then shout to their assistants to cook instant maggie mee for our hungry "ghosts" counting agents. But the electric kettles issued by SPR to boil the water for maggie mee are all designed to fail and short-circuit the AC mains as soon as they are plugged in. During the Instant Blackout, the vote tallies and insertion of bogus votes can be carried out by our Tipu agents. This election will be code-named Blackout505.

SPRC: Surely, the people will cry FOUL that SPR stole the election for Najib. 1 or 2 blackouts ok....but...but...27 blackouts all at the same time. Won't this be very suspicious?

SPRDC: Tak ada masalah. We blame it on the Chinese supplier of the faulty electrical kettles that comes with the instant maggie mee. We can kill 2 birds with one stone. We will start a Chinese Tsunami campaign to boycott the Chinese goods.  That way we will create racial tension.

We will also video tape and have photo proofs of these blackouts before the election; blame it on the PR side of fabricating evidence of blackouts. That way we confuse everybody and diffuse the attention  on the cheating and stolen election.

SPRC: Very good, SPRDC. Where did you learn this technique?

SPRDC: from America, the staged 9/11 deception.

CPM:  Very good gentlemen. Shall we proceed with Blackout505 GE13, then? Will dissolve Parliament this afternoon. Tunship and Tan Sri-ships for both of you if we are successful in stealing this election.

A tale of 2 rallies by Star Presstitude; BN (Bandits NoMoralFront) Vs PR (People Rising)

update 26 May 2013:

From the Media Rakyat video and accounts of those who had been there, the Padang Timur was crowded with standing room only and overflowed to the walkways and fringes of the padang. If that was the case, we can safely estimate the rally to be attended by more than 130,000 at its peak.

~~~~~
The Blackout505 rally at Padang Timur, PJ, adjacent to Amcorp Mall on 25 May 2013, was generally estimated to have a crowd of  between 50,000 to 70,000. It was another successful Blackout505 rally with regards to turnout.
The crowd at about 7:15pm (before the break for dinner at 7:30- 8:30) at Padang Timur, Amcorp Mall PJ.
In contrast the STAR (a pro BN govt press) reported 100,000 attended the Citrawarna Malaysia launch at Dataran Merdeka at the same evening on 25 May 2013.
~~~report from the STAR~~~~~~~

Drizzle fails to dampen Citrawarna Malaysia launch

KUALA LUMPUR: A drizzle did not deter the public, including foreign tourists, from following the Citrawarna 1Malaysia (Colours of 1Malaysia) event at Merdeka Square on Saturday.
The fest, which started at 5pm, saw about 100,000 local and foreign tourists and 248 MegaFam participants from 23 nations including Brunei, Thailand, Cambodia, Jerman, New Zealand and Canada mesmerised by the local cultural performances.
Australian Richard McGallen, 38, complimented the Tourism and Culture Ministry for organising a fantastic event.
"I am amazed at the cultural performances...my visit to Malaysia will be a very memorable one," he said.
Hisham Jefri Mohd Ali, 27, from Kelana Jaya, was very excited with the procession of 200 Porche cars and other performances.

~~~~~~~~
Now let us analyse how truthful the reporting was.
The size of Dataran Merdeka is approximately 155,440 sq ft as shown by google map (right). If each sitting/standing area occupied by each person is 3 sq ft, the maximum number of attendees would be just 51,813. Even if the Dataran Merdeka was crowded with standing room only (2 sq ft) the maximum crowd would be just 77,720 people. Thus, the STAR presstitude is guilty of inflating the numbers by 25 to 50% even if the Dataran Merdeka was fully occupied.
But because there was no picture at all of the crowd, we can safely say the Dataran Merdeka would not even be quarter-full as witnessed in all cultural events. Most would be foreign invited guests and participants.
The PR Blackout505 rally at Padang Timur, Amcorp Mall, PJ was held at a larger place. The conservative area of actual field was 225,000 sq ft (see red outline of field area only, right pic).
If the outer perimeter (walkway) is included, the area occupied by rally attendees is much larger at 260,000 sq ft. Using the 3 sq ft per person area, we have a REALISTIC ESTIMATE RANGE of between 75,000 to 86,667 people. At 2 sq ft per person standing room, the crowd could easily be 112,500 to 130,000.  But hey, no one is counting and no scientific estimates are given, except here.
At the end of the rally, Anwar Ibrahim tweeted / wrote on his FB page the NST headline "200 flashlights attended a rally in Petaling Jaya". You can see for yourself how much NST (aka Najib SuratKhabar TakOtak).
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151462719231840&set=a.10150536192771840.367649.16194831839&type=1&theater&notif_t=like
So on one hand, The STAR Presstitude, obviously over-estimated the crowd attendance at the official function at Dataran Merdeka at 100,000 without even showing a single picture of the crowd. How convenient?
On the other hand, the STAR Presstitude dared not even give a number to the huge crowd gathered at Dataran PJ for Pakatan Rakyat's rally Saturday. This is what The STAR reported:
PETALING JAYA: A huge crowd gathered at Dataran PJ for Pakatan Rakyat's rally Saturday.
The rally is among several organised by the opposition to protest the results of the May 5 general election.
Police have warned that the rally is illegal as they have not received the 10-day notice as required by law under the Peaceful Assembly Act.
A train passes above as the rally participants gather at Dataran PJ. Starpix by ROHAIZAT MD DARUS A train passes above as the rally participants gather at Dataran PJ. Starpix by ROHAIZAT MD DARUS
Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has said that those that do not adhere to the act will "pay a heavy price" for their offence.
The crowd, mostly clad in black, started to arrive as early as 4.00pm. The event proper started at 5.00pm with speeches from representatives of student groups and non-governmental organisations.
The NST even totally ignored the number of participants (dared not even mention the number), choosing to emphasize the perceived "illegality" issue.
PETALING JAYA: The opposition proceeded with their planned gathering at Dataran Petaling Jaya here today despite not giving police notice as required under the Peaceful Assemblies Act 2012.
The assembly which began at 4.30pm was mostly attended by participants who were dressed in all black with some bringing along their babies and children.
Some carried placards with provocative words.
Among those present were Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, PKR vice-presidents Tian Chua and Nurul Izzah Anwar besides PKR strategy director Rafizi Ramli.
It is also understood members of movements like Soladiriti Anak Muda Malaysia, Suara Rakyat Malaysia, Parti Sosialis Malaysia and Jaringan Rakyat Tertindas joined in.
Prior to this, police had said they had not received any notice on the planned assembly.
The act requires at least 10 days notice be given before an assembly can be held. -- BERNAMA
The foreign international press (AFP) is perhaps more honest by suggesting tens of thousands but dared not "cross the line" of giving an estimate of the crowd. So judge for yourself how the main stream media downplay the truth or inflate to please their paymasters.
Thousands defy Malaysia govt, holds rally to protest 'electoral fraud'
PETALING JAYA, Malaysia (AFP) - Tens of thousands of people rallied near Kuala Lumpur on Saturday night against alleged electoral fraud, further raising the political temperature after a divisive general election.
The latest in a series of protest rallies over the May 5 elections, which the opposition said were won fraudulently by the 56-year-old ruling coalition, saw a large crowd gather in an open field outside Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia's Home Minister Zahid Hamidi earlier called the rally a "provocation", coming after four people were arrested, including two opposition politicians, actions that sparked allegations of a post-election crackdown on dissent.
There were no reports of any police action against the latest rally, which was to include speeches by top opposition figures, including leader Anwar Ibrahim.
STOP Being Stupid, People! Malaysia’s richest person,Taib's US$15 billion was stolen from the poorest state in Malaysia
Outrage grows over scandal-tainted Malaysian leader
malaysiaman.jpg
Despite earning a civil servant’s salary for three decades, Taib Mahmud, the powerful chief minister of Malaysia’s Sarawak state, is reputed by critics to be one of Asia’s richest men.
Taib, 77, and his family are accused of massive corruption and running Malaysia’s largest state like a family business, controlling its biggest companies with stakes in hundreds of corporations in Malaysia and abroad.
A Rolls Royce and flashy jet cover his transportation, while a vast war chest has kept his political authority unrivalled in 32 years in charge of the resource-rich Borneo island state, which remains one of Malaysia’s poorest.
“The amount of control he has is astounding. He has been able to dominate politics and society here for nearly four decades,” said Faisal Hazis, a political scientist with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak.
But pressure is rising both at home and abroad for action against a man referred to by his harshest critics as the “thief minister” and viewed as the prime example of a culture of corruption fuelling public disgust.
Swiss-based activists Bruno Manser Fund (BMF), citing financial records, last year estimated the 77-year-old’s worth at US$15 billion, which would make him Malaysia’s richest person.
Such revelations are hugely embarrassing for Prime Minister Najib Razak, who faces a slide in support due in part to corruption blamed for bleeding the country of billions of dollars annually.
But Taib, a member of Malaysia’s 56-year-old ruling coalition, is widely considered untouchable because the Sarawak parliamentary bloc he controls helps keep the coalition in power.
“We don’t see the political will to address grand corruption like this and it could destroy the country” by crippling economic development, said Josie Fernandez, Transparency International’s Malaysia director.
A 2008 US State Department cable revealed by WikiLeaks called Taib “highly corrupt” and “unchallenged”, saying Taib-linked companies dominate Sarawak’s emerging economy.
He and his family are accused of routinely taking kickbacks for lucrative government contracts or awarding the projects to companies they control.
A prime example dominates the languid capital Kuching - the state-assembly building whose swooping, golden roof gleams like a crown in the tropical sun.
A Taib-linked company won the US$98 million contract to build the structure, which opened in 2009 and is home to a legislature he controls. A similar story surrounds a futuristic convention centre nearby.
Taib’s office declined repeated interview requests.
A member of the Melanau tribe, supporters see him as defender of the autonomy of Sarawak - which is marked by Christian and tribal groups - against the Muslim Malay-dominated federal coalition based on mainland Malaysia.
Taib denies wrongdoing, saying Sarawak must be developed for its 2.4 million people. His critics spout “a web of lies and half-truths wrapped around ignorance and twisted logic”, he fumed last year.
But pressure grows, including in the rugged interior where Taib is blamed for decimating vast rainforests through logging and dam projects and evicting tribes from ancestral lands, sparking protests.
Philip Jau travelled for two days by road with dozens of his Kayan tribesmen to protest this week in Kuching against a mega-dam pushed by Taib on the remote Baram river despite local opposition.
“The dam is a curse from hell,” said Jau, wearing a feather-strewn traditional woven cap. “Taib will benefit, but he is killing the people.”
Jau fears the dam will destroy a river ecosystem the Kayan rely on, noting that tribes near the already-completed Bakun dam, Malaysia’s largest, say that has happened there.
BMF head Lukas Strauman said Taib and his family are the “chief culprits in destroying one of the world’s last great rainforest areas.”
In December, Swiss parliamentarians called for a freeze on any Taib assets there, saying he had abused office “in a spectacular way”. Swiss authorities are yet to respond.
Malaysia’s anti-graft agency launched an investigation in 2011, but it is widely accused of foot-dragging.
Faisal said action is highly unlikely as Sarawak seats proved crucial to the federal coalition winning May 5 elections, showing Taib is “more important than ever” to the government. Premier Najib’s office declined to comment.
Taib has gotten even richer since the polls.
Shares of Taib-linked CMS -- Sarawak’s largest conglomerate - have soared 65 per cent following the ruling-coalition win, and the compliant state assembly tripled Taib’s pay to nearly US$400,000 on Tuesday - his birthday.
Pre-election staged photo evidence points to EC masterminding the election fraud. Makan Chili Tahu Pedasnya.
So the EC staged a pre-election photo of the black-out as proof that numerous blackouts during vote counting were lies. Otherwise why would he be so quick to say that the "photo in question" was taken before the election? Only the perpetrators of the crime (fraud) would know this detail.
This is well tested deception ploy. Good try EC. We are not stupid to fall for your old bag of tricks.
(Bernama) - Preliminary investigation by the Election Commission (EC) revealed that a photograph posted on the internet showing that a blackout purportedly occurred during vote-counting for the 13th general election (GE13) was an act recorded even before the GE13.
EC deputy chairman Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said this conclusion was arrived at after a thorough scrutiny by him together with his officers.
“They had staged the act even before the election to spread it on the internet as a ploy to show that a blackout had purportedly occurred, whereas it was a lie.
“The photograph showed that EC staff were purportedly counting the ballot papers and had to use a auxiliary lamps whereas the staff were not wearing the EC uniform,” he told Bernama when met recently.
He said the most obvious proof was when the photograph showed that there were many reporters and photographers present in the vote-counting area whereas no one was allowed into the area except for the EC staff and agents of the candidates.
“The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and work procedure shown on the photograph were totally incorrect…they have forgotten, (they) want to cheat but do not understand the work procedure and were immature.
“In fact the tray used for placing the ballot papers on were also not the EC trays, the material and size were different…(there were) many things in the photograph that did not follow EC SOP,” he said.
Wan Ahmad said so far there had been no police report lodged regarding the alleged ‘blackout’ which showed that it was clearly a slander and concocted story.
Can you believe this BOLD-FACE liar?
KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 — Khairy Jamaluddin has defended the manner in which Elections 2013 was conducted, arguing in a letter to international current affairs magazine The Economist that there was not “one shred of evidence” of fraud in the polls.
The newly-appointed sports minister also took a swipe at Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, by accusing the opposition leader of not accepting the results because “of his own personal, lifelong ambition to become prime minister.”
“Allegations that foreign nationals were paid as ‘phantom voters’ have proved to be false, with not even one recorded case on polling day. All votes were cast and counted in front of representatives from all the contesting parties who signed off on the results.
“If any evidence of fraud does emerge the government encourages the relevant party to file an election petition in the courts to allow due process to take course.”
Khairy’s (picture) letter to The Economist was in response to a scathing report last week in the magazine of Malaysia’s elections.
The Umno Youth leader has been given the task of improving the Barisan Nasional (BN) government’s image abroad and his first job recently was to soft pedal the angry reaction by Umno politicians towards Chinese Malaysians in the aftermath of GE13.
In its reports, The Economist noted that national reconciliation appears a distant dream post-Election 2013 for a country scarred by the “nasty, divisive” electoral campaign led by Umno and BN in the rural heartlands.
http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/khairy-says-not-one-shred-of-evidence-to-suggest-polls-fraud/
Was Khairy rewarded for his role in illegally importing Bangla to vote in GE13?
Until Dax Muhamad comes out with a plausible explanation for these public Tweets, the rest of us are entitled to speculate.
After all, Muhamad is a known side-kick of the former UMNO youth leader Kairy Jalamuddin, who in turn was a known ‘fixer’ for Najib Razak.
There was widespread surprise and annoyance when straight after the election this young and inexperienced politician was rocketed to ministerial status.
As many pointed out, it has not been customary for former UMNO youth leaders to receive such stella promotion.
Others wondered whether the PM, who only just scrapped back into office as a minority leader on the back of blatant vote rigging, may be indebted to the ambitious young man in some way?
Could Dax Muhamad therefore reassure us that in giving “heartfelt thanks” to Fernandez and Air Biman for “making shit happen” on May 5th he is not referring to the organising of mass importation of phantom voters from Bangladesh and East Malaysia?
Tony Fernandes is, as every Malaysian knows, the flamboyant Chairman of Air Asia. Or was Dax speaking of some other Fenandes in this context?
Fake ID cards? These were tossed by the side of the road after the election… from a departing bus of foreign phantom voters?
Moreover, since Fernandes is apparently being thanked for the already exposed air-bussing of voters from East Malaysia, but ‘Air Biman’ even more so, the implication is that even greater numbers of voters were shipped from Bangladesh.
If there is an alternative meaning to his remarks could Dax Muhamad please (given the topical and current widespread concerns about the shipping in of foreign nationals to vote) clarify his Tweets?
5,000 votes won the ten most marginal seats
The impact of just a few carefully targeted voters should not be under-estimated. UMNO changed the constitution in order to destroy the independence of the Election Commission, which it then moved into the PM’s own office.
This, along with the Special Branch assessments of voting intentions in each area and the handy new system of early voting by police and the army, means UMNO has given itself the apparatus to scrutinise the electoral roll minutely and target accordingly.
The failure of the promised ‘indelible ink’ also meant that the busloads of suspect voters turning up at various polling stations (which were frequently escorted by police) could in principle have been rotated around a number of voting centres.
These are the issues being currently alleged in a number of disputed seats in an election where the 10 most marginal seats were determined by just 5,000 votes and where several seats that were originally won by PR were then over-turned after the Election Commission officials oversaw highly controversial recounts.
So consider Dax Muhamad’s general view on the issue of bussing voters, according to his own re-Tweet:
Face of a racist Home Minister who has got no balls to back up what he says
If this is not racist then what is? Come on, there is no excuse for backtracking. A "no-balls" racist Home Minister who job is to continue carrying Najib's balls.
Malaysia's Home Minister says remarks in Utusan were "not racist, just practical"
PETALING JAYA - Malaysia's Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has defended his recent statement which called for groups which did not accept the country's political system to migrate to countries with systems that suit them.
The Umno vice-president, who has been criticised for the remarks published in the Utusan earlier this week, said his statement was taken out of context.
"I actually said those who are not confident of our political system to berhijrah to countries with political systems that suited them.
"I am not being racist... I am just being practical in saying such groups should go to countries where they can translate their political beliefs into reality," he said on Friday.
Election Fraud in Malaysia
Malaysians cast their ballots in the most important election in the nation's history on Sunday. On Election Day, as had been predicted by opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, reports of electoral fraud were widespread. Although the Prime Minister Najib Razak had just a few days earlier given his categorical assurance that the election would be clean, a mountain of evidence started piling up to negate his assertion.
It was discovered that despite years of pressuring the Malaysian Election Commission (EC) to ensure a free, fair and unbiased election the EC continued to demonstrate its incompetence and lack of professionalism. Furthermore, evidence has emerged that websites in Malaysia are being selectively and deliberately blocked to prevent the free flow of independent information.
Indelible Ink
At early voting stations in Kuala Lumpur on April 30, independent election observers witnessed that the indelible ink being used as a mechanism to prevent multiple voting could be removedwith hand sanitizer or soapy water. These reports were confirmed by independent news portal Malaysiakini, one of Malaysia's most well regarded online news portals. Indelible ink is supposed to remain visible on the voter's finger for a minimum of five to seven days so that an individual who tries to vote more than once will be turned away. In Malaysia, the ink can be removed quite easily shortly after it is applied. Over 50,000 military servicemen voted in early voting on April 30 and could have voted again on the May 5 polling date as a result of the faulty ink.
On May 5 there were 1000s of reports of voters being able to wipe the indelible ink off their hands quite easily. In response the Election Commissioner stated it was not a big deal since there would be no voting the following day.
In 2012 the Election Commission gave assurances to civil society groups which had staged large street protests in Kuala Lumpur that it would implement indelible ink. But the ink that was ultimately used proved to be defective and useless, casting a dark shadow on the integrity of the electoral process.
On the eve of May 13, Anwar warns Umno
And on the eve of May 13, a date that has many painful memories for Malaysian Chinese, Anwar did not disappoint. He lambasted Prime Minister Najib Razak and Umno-BN for continuously raising the spectre of the May 13 racial riots to scare the Chinese community in to docility and to stir up fresh hatred amongst the Malays for the Chinese.
"Why should we be bound b the mentality of 1960s era? Today's Malaysia is about one united people. Kami anak Malaysia (we are all the children of Malaysia)," Anwar told the hushed crowd which broke into thunderous applause on hearing his words.
The 64-year-old had been forced to come to the rally on a motorbike due to the massive traffic congestion. He was immediately mobbed by the crowd. Labelled a political chameleon by his nemesis and former boss, Mahathir Mohamad, Anwar certainly called it right this round, in refusing to concede defeat in the May 5 general election.
From the ashes of what he has alleged was a most unjust loss, he has turned the crisis to his advantage. If before he was already among the top 3 most popular leaders in the country, he is now in a class all of his own.
And it is not all about blind hero-worship. For his supporters and many Malaysians, Anwar represents their hope to a just Malaysia where law and order can persist without being twisted at the whim and fancy of the Umno elite, which has ruled Malaysia since 1957.
The Stoogapore Govt may be a stooge but not the Brave Singaporeans.
"Solidarity" event for Malaysia draws a crowd at Hong Lim Park
SINGAPORE - Most in the crowd wore black and were issued yellow candles for a vigil. A significant number appeared to be Malaysians who came to observe the event.
Several signs expressing support for Malaysia were laid on the ground in one corner of the park.
Said businessman Mr Chong Chin Chun, 43, who is a permanent resident from Malaysia: "Our neighbours are here to speak out for us, I will feel very shameful if I don't turn up to support."
The event was organised by social activist Jolovan Wham. Two Singaporean speakers - Mr Wham and poet Alfian Sa'at - made speeches.
Our Appreciation and Thanks to the brave Singaporeans who turned up to support our call for a clean & fair election. Unlike the "Committee 300 stooge PM" who was among the first to congratulate the corrupt Najib BN govt for stealing the GE-13.
Tainted by Association. Despite the clear evidence of an unfair and stolen election, PM Lee did not hesitate to send the following congratulatory message.
Letter from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Judge for yourself how "sincere" he was in the letter. At least the US did express possible irregularities, adding that the US believed it was important that Malaysian authorities address the concerns.
Dear Prime Minister Najib,
Congratulations on leading the Barisan Nasional to a well-deserved victory in the 13th General Election, as well as on your win in Pekan! The Barisan Nasional's convincing win reflects your people's confidence in your leadership and the value they placed on continuity and stability.
This was a particularly hard-fought general election, but you ran a strong campaign that focused on your people's concerns and persuaded them of your vision for Malaysia.
I wish you all the best in your next term of Government. I look forward to continue working with you to deepen our bilateral cooperation. As we discussed at our Leaders' Retreat in February, our countries have large and growing stakes in each other's success. Let us strengthen our close partnership for the benefit of both our peoples.
Ho Ching joins me in congratulating you and in wishing you and Datin Sri Rosmah continued good health and success. We hope to see you again before too long.
Yours sincerely,
LEE HSIEN LOONG
